To all our former missionaries, from our children to sister Cavanaugh and myself we wish you happy holidays this season. We congratulate all of you in your marriages, children, education and work.
If I had to share two things that will bring you more peace and happiness in your lives it would be to pray always and always spend daily time in the scriptures.
Through trials and difficulties, the Lord is waiting to help and assist us if we but ask and obey.
We wanted to inform you of our call to serve. We are leaving January 16, 2009 for Bogota, Colombia. I will be serving as the MTC president. I am sure we will be seeing many of your former companions some night when we have a reunion there.
May you be blessed with the spirit of peace, even the Holy Ghost this season of 2008.
